[Aika] Officer Promotion: Goldian & LordPopoy

Since there is quite some stuff to sort out we decided to stop the applications (we had all in already too) and move on to the outcome.


I was quite amazed by the number of applicants, especially compared to the past. But as we only can assign two for now, we will have to disappoint a few of you. But, do not fret. More opportunities will come!

In everyone's applications we looked at effort (size/word choice), past experience, timezone/country and date of joining Sovereign. We wanted one Western and one Eastern based officer for now to have both regions covered. With that in mind, we had a tough time deciding between all Eastern based applicants. Here is a message to those:

To all of you who joined recently and applied already, we are sure you would make great officers but would like you to remain member a bit longer so you can observe our current officers and get used to the 'Sovereign way of doing things' To yet others, sort out your real life first and look if you will still be playing on the long run To the last group, as you may know we like to read So, the more you write that shows your dedication the higher your chances.

The next time we open up applications be sure to apply, as I beleive you folks are on good way there. I definitely see potential within many of you, so treasure that for now and use the extra time you have to improve and familiarize yourself within the guild even further

To our new Officers: a new forum is now visible within the Aika Global section. Please check it out and read through the pinned/sticky threads as soon as possible.

Also, I'd like to thank all those who applied for the positions. As Reivalt mentioned, the selection was made after considering various aspects. There are lot more opportunities that will open up, so keep up the great work and keep an eye out for it.

Gratz to the both of you. Goldian was rly active and helpful while i was still playing Aika so I guess he deserves it! I don't know about LordPopoy but I guess he deserves it just as much .

Congratulationz!.. Though I have to admit, the officer badges don't look too fancy.. Ryuu's badge still is the best! ... Speaking of badges.. I think that they look to normal.. It needs something to spice things up!..

My first idea for a badge is the following image bordered by a pink corner!.. Ofc it should be made a bit smaller though.. -.-
